FAQ – Everything You Need to Know about Craft Accessories

It depends on the size of the project and the desired effect (kawaii style loves big eyes!). Usually 12–16 mm eyes suit a medium-sized teddy bear made from Dolphin Baby yarn. For giants, 30–40 mm will create a spectacular effect.

It is a matter of preference. Bamboo is lighter and warmer, yarn slips less on it, which helps beginners control stitches. Metal needles are faster and more durable for very tight knitting.

It has a handle covered with soft material (silicone or rubber) of a special shape. This reduces hand muscle tension, allowing for longer work without feeling tired or having numb fingers.

For a small soft toy (approx. 20 cm) approximately 50–100 g is sufficient. For a large cuddly toy or medium cushion it is worth stocking up on a 0.5 kg pack. Remember that the filling is very springy and expands when removed from the packaging!
