Hi! I'm Agnieszka, and I'm the unofficial pioneer of hand weaving in Poland.

This is a space for organised creative groups – women's circles, discussion clubs, or close-knit groups of craft lovers who want to take their imagination to a whole new level.

But remember, you don't need your own group to enjoy this magical process. You can easily book a single spot at a weaving workshop and experience this adventure alongside other handmade enthusiasts. It's a great opportunity to spend an afternoon in an unusual way, while meeting fascinating, passionate people.

Weaving workshops… but weaving what? Discover finger knitting

At my hand-weaving workshops, participants don't just soak up theoretical knowledge about working with unique, thick yarns – above all, they weave their very own fluffy blanket by hand! We take the word "by hand" very literally here. The main idea behind our sessions is finger knitting with thick yarn – completely without a crochet hook, knitting needles or complicated frames. Your hands are the only tool you need.

At my workshops, you don't need to worry about a thing. I provide top-quality yarn in the colour of your dreams, plus a solid dose of practical knowledge. Thanks to my own tricks and simple instructions, you'll be able to easily repeat this feat at home and create more textiles afterwards.

Keep in mind that the hand-weaving blanket workshops are aimed mainly at beginners. You don't need any prior craft experience whatsoever. I'll explain the rules of finger knitting step by step, and you'll leave my hand-weaving workshop not only with a finished, soft blanket, but also with a new passion.

Blanket weaving workshop – why experience it with me?

In the daily rush, full of notifications and screens, we rarely give ourselves the chance for a real, deep offline break. Hand-weaving workshops are the ideal, proven recipe for a complete digital detox.

Weaving thick yarn has amazing therapeutic properties – the rhythmic movement of your hands calms racing thoughts, teaches mindfulness, and effectively helps you disconnect from everyday stress. It's an incredibly rewarding hobby: the results of your work grow before your eyes, giving instant satisfaction.

However, the most remarkable part of our sessions is the atmosphere. I love watching people from seemingly completely different worlds weave their blankets side by side at the same table. An engineer, a hairdresser, a photographer, a doctor, a programmer – so many different life paths coming together for three hours in one shared rhythm.

In the company of soft yarn, conversation flows naturally, real connections form, and time passes so quickly that before you know it, your own handmade blanket will be ready to take home!

• Price: 320 PLN per person – this covers full instructor guidance and as much as 5 skeins of thick yarn in your chosen colour
